The ICSE syllabus is application-based and offers detailed learning. Children are groomed to think for themselves and answer twisted questions based on topics they have studied.The Council for the Indian School Certificate Exam (ICSE) has an in-depth and extensive syllabus that helps students prepare for the TOEFL exams as well as competitive exams like JEE, IIT and NEET.

Sports and Games play an important role in the life of every student at Samskaara Academy. Football, Basketball, and Athletics are the major outdoor activities children are trained in. A well attended inter-school tournament is conducted at Samskaara Academy every year. Shuttle badminton and Table tennis are also encouraged.

Theatre, Art, Singing , Dance  are on the weekly time-table.Keyboard, Guitar, Flute, Indian Classical Dance and Chess are popular extra–curricular activities.

The student teacher ratio is at its best at Samskaara with a ratio of one teacher to every eight students. We have about 400 students and more than 50 teachers in school.

At Samskaara Academy Inquiry-based learning is followed right through middle school where the student-centered teaching method encourages students to ask questions and investigate facts.  Students are actively engaged in the learning process and are given the opportunity to explore their natural curiosities.

A Montessori environment has scientifically designed Montessori material for children to work, develop and learn at their own individual pace. No toys.

 The transition is smooth since the ICSE syllabus and exam are not based on memorization but on understanding and discovering concepts. This is exactly what Montessori does too.

At Casa and Elementary, assessment is a part of everyday life for the teacher, so no stress is imposed on the child with announcements of tests.  Every bit of work is assessed. When a child is competent with one presentation the child is allowed to work on an advanced one. Actual work is done and concepts are understood.  Worksheets indicate what the child has learned and remembered. High school children have tests and exams in preparation for the final Board Exams.

Samskaara Teachers are committed to observe and adapt to the needs of each student that joins us from Matriculation,CBSE,or any other  State board school that follows a traditional method . This helps the child to quickly adapt to the Montessori method.

Our children in Casa study in groups of three, four and five-year-olds.The children in the elementary have ten-member groups comprised of six, seven, eight, nine, and ten-year-olds.  This method encourages peer learning as in a large family. The adult helps each individual progress as per their age and ability and it is amazing how children keep the peace.
